The Business Resource Center is a Process-Driven Accelerator designed to help entrepreneurs with big ideas scale those ideas into companies that will create quality jobs. Participating entrepreneurs will have access to cutting-edge tools, methodologies, mentors and office space to launch their companies. In short, The Business Resource Center is the hub for helping entrepreneurs accelerate their access to money, markets and mentors.

 

What We Are Looking For

  1. Big ideas that can change the world.
  2. Product/Service – The product or service offered should be disruptive, unique, solve a customer's problem or meet a need. The value propositions to the customer should be clear.
  3. Founding Team – The management team should consist of the key individuals that can execute and achieve critical milestones.
  4. Market – The opportunity to build a company really starts with the attractiveness of the market opportunity and the solution that nails the pain in the market. We prefer companies that can deliver revenues of $1MM to $100MM within a four to five year period.
  5. Business Model – The business model is the means by which an idea can be developed into a repeatable, sustainable, and profitable business. We prefer businesses with high growth potential, sustainable gross margins and a defensible competitive advantage.

Program Details and Highlights

  • Access to cutting-edge tools and programs, amazing mentors and office space at little or no cost.
  • 1 – 3 years of intensive help and assistance.
  • Participants should be teachable and open to following the process of being a progressive entrepreneur.

Process

  1. Application - Create a one page company/idea overview Apply
  2. Review - The BRC Director will review applications and determine if your company/idea is a good fit.
  3. Presentation – Regularly the BRC screening committee reviews applications and invites those companies wth ideas of interest to give a ten-minute, in-person presentation followed by Q&A. The BRC Screening Committee will then discuss your request in private and determine how or if to proceed.
  4. Acceptance - Following the presentation, the BRC Director will notify you of how the BRC Committee would like to proceed. If accepted, the BRC Director will meet with you and review the terms of acceptance and help with the necessary arrangements.
